No, you don’t need to make a claim to access additional support from Vivo. Getting recovery support in the early stages of an illness or injury can significantly improve your long-term health outcomes.

When illness or injury impacts your ability to stay at work, you can reach out to us to see if you’re eligible and suitable for additional support through Vivo.

Additional support through Vivo is provided based on suitability.

Vivo is available at no additional cost if:

  • you have an Encompass Protection policy
  • you’re with a participating super fund or employer,*
  • you’re a participating financial adviser or part of their practice team.*

Some services are also available to family members:

  • Nutrition consult
  • Exercise consult
  • Mental health opinion
  • Medical opinion

Family members include:

  • Children (mental health opinions 18+)
  • Parents
  • Partner
  • Partner’s parents

*Availability depends on arrangements with service partners and agreements with the policy owner.

If you’re eligible, create your Vivo account in minutes:

  • Sign up online: enter your name, email, and create a password.
  • Verify your email.
  • Confirm eligibility by answering a quick question and providing the requested details.
  • Access your account – book services for yourself and eligible family members, and download the Vivo app from your account.
  • Prefer to call? You can book select services (nutrition consult, exercise consult, mental health opinion, and medical opinion) by calling 1300 163 053. Our providers will confirm your eligibility over the phone.

Vivo is available at no additional cost if you have an Encompass Protection policy, are with a participating super fund or employer, or are a participating financial adviser or practice team member.*

There’s no overall limit on how many Vivo services you or your family can use. Each expert service can be used once per person for the same health or medical reason within a 12‑month period.

Example: If you book a nutrition consult for guidance on living with diabetes, you can’t book another nutrition consult for diabetes within the next 12 months. But if you want help with meal planning for weight management during that time, you can book a nutrition consult again for that new reason.

In a medical sense, treatment refers to the care and management provided to a patient to combat a disease, injury, or health condition. It includes any medical intervention aimed at alleviated symptoms, curing illness, or improving quality of life.

Treatments can involve pharmacological approaches (medications), surgical procedures, therapeutic interventions (physical therapy, counselling), or preventative or palliative care.

The goal of treatment is to restore health, manage symptoms, and prevent complications. It is typically prescribed or coordinated by healthcare professionals as part of a care plan following a diagnosis.

Vivo offers plans and opinions that can guide your treatment plan. Vivo’s experts cannot provide treatment and Vivo does not fund treatment.
